The Business Unit's products are suited for various sectors: They help hotels provide a comfortable atmosphere for their guests, create pleasant and productive working conditions in offices, ensure wellbeing in churches and museums and simultaneously protect the buildings’ structures and exhibits.
Precision air-handling units ensure a constant indoor climate in laboratories or datacenters, hygienic units in turn are geared to the needs of the health sector or the industry. Air filter systems and last but not least cleanroom systems produce clean production conditions und minimize health hazards.
Economic motors, systems for heat recovery or the integration of environmental heat and cold enhance among others the solutions’ energy efficiency; in-house control systems moreover offer further savings potential.

GEA Air Treatment GmbH recently presented GEA Air Eco2nomy City on its homepage. The animated application example presents at a glance, in English and German, the entire application spectrum of the products of GEA as HVAC provider.
There are countless and diverse applications dealing with heating, cooling, cleaning, and humidification/dehumidification of air. Hardly any area of our life is not touched by these possibilities. In order to vividly demonstrate its many and various HVAC applications, GEA Air Treatment uses animated urban scenarios on its Web site to show the fields in which this technology of GEA can be found. The spectrum includes factories, computer centers, the food and beverage business, the pharmaceutical industry, shopping centers, airports, office buildings, hospitals, hotels, cruise ships, museums, schools, and swimming pools.
When you click on one of the application areas – for example, “Schools” – the view will zoom in to those GEA systems that promote good learning and good teaching in classrooms and in gymnasiums. In this example, you see the air handling units GEA COM4plus and GEA Campos, and the GEA compressor-condenser unit GCH with axial fans.
